🌴 Sengodu Foundation Recognized by Government of Tamil Nadu for Massive Palm Seedling Initiative 🌴
We are proud to announce that Sengodu Foundation has been officially recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu for its outstanding contribution to the One Crore Palm Seedlings Plantation Program 2024 (ஒரு கோடி பனை விதைகள் நடும் நிகழ்ச்சி 2024).
📍 Our Participation
Sengodu Foundation has proudly participated in this state-wide campaign by actively planting palm seeds in Pethanur, Kallakurichi District. These efforts are part of a broader mission involving all 38 districts in Tamil Nadu, targeting water body rejuvenation and climate action.

Our work has been acknowledged by Dr. P. Senthilkumar, I.A.S., Principal Secretary to the Government, Environment, Climate Change and Forests Department, marking a significant milestone for our foundation and our volunteers.

Sengodu Foundation Joins Children Parliament Network After Successful Two-Day Training
We are delighted to announce that Sengodu Foundation has been officially recognized and authorized by the Children Parliament Global Movement following our active participation in the Children Parliament and Funding Support Training held on April 5–6, 2025, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. This intensive two-day training, conducted in the presence of Governance Magnify—a unit with special consultative status under the UN’s Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)—focused on empowering organizations to promote child governance, civic participation, and leadership through the Children Parliament program. As a result, Sengodu Foundation is now authorized to:- Organize and facilitate Children Parliament initiatives in selected schools and communities.
- Coordinate efforts under the Children Parliament Network in alignment with Governance Magnify.
- Apply for funding support for these programs through recognized channels.
